PURMEREND, — Three intense red lights.
Appeared over the roof of the house on opposite side of the road.
Silent but impossible to guage height.
Vague formation...after a minute, two carried on in original direction and one...the' higher' one in the 'formation' ...appeared to veer off to the west and disappeared behind tree line...the other two 'drifted' over head and disappeared above the flat we were observing from.

Speed can be described as a fast drift with a few minor directional changes...but apart from the one that peeled off to the west the other two maintained a rough heading to the Northwest.
No speed changes and smooth in travel.

The red colour of all three 'balls' remained steady did not flicker dim or flare...

Shape was impossible to determine...even through binoculars...no sense of size but were definately not aircraft navigation lights.
And definately not helicoptors.

Observed by two people...my wife and I standing on our balcony.
Street was quite...no one else seemingly around.

No fireworks or parties in the area.
